Custom FAQ

I'm trying to get into the custom knife world. The only problem: I can't find a FAQ or some such. Websites maybe? The amount of makers out there... And pay... It seems all to complicated. Is there some sort of resource for beginners?

I'd recommend you read the Custom Forum archives and make liberal use of the search engine...and dare I say it, at the risk of promoting Les Robertson (), you may wish to read Les' booklet on Custom Knife collecting. (I haven't read it myself, but I'm sure it is full of useful information.)

I'd guess that Les will chime in on this thread and direct you to a link on his site.

I'm sure others will be able to suggest good links and books that may help you on your way as well.
