Hello guys, I'm looking for a custom handle maker to mod my tactical knife, just simply micarta handle without any fancy.
who will you suggest?

Unfortunately I have no any equipment for that.

Not much equipment is needed. File/rasp, sandpaper, drill. A drill press and belt sander are nice but not required. You can buy both of those for cheap at harbor freight. The smallest ones they sell are adequate for that job. Take the money you would pay the custom maker and buy some tools.

I just did these scales this morning using a 40 year old jigsaw and a Dremel:

That's some black paper Micarta above.
Not done yet, still need to shape a bit more then polish.
Took me about 45 minutes so far.
It's not that hard!

Wear a Respirator, Or be in a well ventilated area working Micarta. It releases Formaldehyde. It pickles your brain. One handle isn’t much, just be careful.

Thanks for your advice, I checked the harbor freight web site, the price of equipment is much lower than I thought, and I watched tutorial in youtube, very interesting but I can't do that work in my living place...
