Custom fixed blade info

My stepdad (Pops) got this knife from Steve in Salina Oklahoma back in the mid 90’s. Steve was just the local drunk and got in a bind for money so ole Pops ended up getting the knife for not much.
The story Steve gave was that the man that made this knife was a knife maker from Arkansas. He supposedly made four of this fixed blade, he gave three to his brothers and one to Steve.

The only mark on the knife is the mosquito which is also on the sheath. Fit and finish on the knife seems to be pretty good, just been around for quite a while. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know, but that looks like a very nice old knife. I wouldn't clean it or do anything to it until you know who made it.
