  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Well my thirst has been satisfied for the time being for production folders and fixed. I still have a 'bucket list' you could call it, Strider, Sebenza, Busse, Hinderer, Snody. But I think thats a ways off. I am begining to venture into the custom world, my first being a Michael Morris friction folder. Made from a file, green micarta, friggen sweet blade. Anyways to quench my thirst I'm starting to look at custom fixed blades, bush craft/outdoor adventure size, sub $200. Any recommendations would be great! Hope everyones summer is going well.

I just posted on someone else recomendation for a fixed blade. Check it out. It's a Jonathan Mcnees MCK II 3/16" 1095 that comes with a sheath and teck-lock. It's in your price range. He also works with s30v, but I like the 1095 with a sweet hamon

The folks over at the Wilderness and Survival Skills forum are always talking about these great, reasonably priced custom bushcraft knives from Bladeforum regulars. In no particular order and with no pretentions at completeness:

JK Knives (BFC's Stomper)
Bryan Breeden
Off the Map knives
Fiddleback Forge
Wildertools (BFC's Magnussen)
Koyote Knives

Googling for any of those should get you a look at the knives.
