Here's a one of a kind custom that I just finished for a guy that I've known for a few years but never met in person. The blade is 3/16" stock, O1 steel, 4" long, 9" opened, Ti liners, G10. Thanks for looking.

That blade shape is sweet, Ray!! I'm sure your friend is going to be thrilled with that one!!

Thanks guys for the comments. I like how the knife turned out. I think he will like it too. He likes the pictures.

Thanks. I just found a few sheets of that stuff in 1/4" and under out in the back of my shop. I'm planning to use it on a few little liner locks I'm working on, and that was the finish I was going for.

It's super easy to get a nice finish if you use wet/dry sandpaper and hand sand it with water.

I think this is your best design yet. Keep up the great work.

Also, did you etch your logo on the spine? I use a stamp for my blades but the results aren't as clean.

Thanks! He wanted a wharncliff blade but I have a hard time grinding straight edges so I added a slight belly to it. This was the resulting blade shape. For the handle I used a template for my Jasmine model folder except I tweaked it a little so the blade would fit in.

I etch my name on my blades. It's cleaner than stamping. It's actually etched in pretty deep in the steel.

Really a nice package. Like the hybred Leaf-Wharncliffe blade with a belly twist. You may have stumbled onto a winner there.

That is super clean. I generally prefer different blade shapes (and I also hate when guys say stuff like that to me btw - i guess I'm a hypocrite), but this is so neat and well made. I just like how you use simple materials and make something great with them.
