Custom Folder Question

Does anyone make or even better sell lock parts for a folder design that is similar to the benchmade axis lock. I have toyed with the idea of making some folders but am really only interested in a similiar locking style.

Those parts you speak of are patented so you will be hard pressed to find them on the open market for sale, making one work is not too too hard but the tolerances are critical or else you will end up with the pin trying to teeter totter and stick. more frustrating than anything is r&d

Benchmade has licensed the design to at least one custom maker, although his name escapes me. Other than that I have no idea, but it's understandable that you'd want to use it, it's a great lock.
