Looking for a folder that meets these criteria:

1. Excellent execution by maker and customer service
2. CPM SV30 blade - hand rubbed
3. Micarta grip
4. multi or just hollowed ground blade
5. Frame lock folder
6. SOLID construction all the way round no slack anywhere…
7. Ergonomic handle
8. Thumb ramp
9. etc, etc, etc……
10. Know “Quality” reputation

I would contact John W. Smith. I think I have seen a few frame locks from him and everything he makes has top fit/finish.

David Winston -- Not sure if he does S30V, but he might. Beautiful blades with excellant fit and finish.

You need to give us a $ amount that you want to spend. There are a BUNCH of custom makers that can do all of what you want, but at different prices. ;)

Quick list, in no particular order; Terzuola, Lightfoot, Carrillo, Crawford, Hinderer, Obenauf, Carson. With the $ range you are into it's a pretty wide field, new or 'used'. All of them are very good.

I dont like hes design
reading this on that site. you got 2 know he got style.

"Unlike other custom knifemakers, Mr. Imai does not attend any shows to sell his knives. He makes what he wants to make and sells to whom he likes. He does not chase trends, and stick to the traditional and old fashioned models and replicas."
