Your thoughts, questions and constructive criticsism are welcomed.
The customer wanted carbon fiber scales, titanium bolsters and a synthetic sapphire in a small pocket knife.
This is my Butter Bean locking liner folder with Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel,.075"x2".
The knife closed is 3"
Jeweled titanium liners.
My custom made stainless thumb stud.
Weight,1.7oz.
He liked it so much that he ordered 2 more.

I like it, Calvin. Looks stout for it's size. The fit and finish look very clean, well done.

Looks like a very useable blade! The sapphire isn't my thing, but that's what the customer wanted, good job. I would love to see one with a solid carbon fiber handle, no bolster.

Great work!

Thank you for your compliments.
I'm like you,I never would have inset a stone of any kind if the customer had not asked for it.
I did build one of these little knives for one of my grandsons a couple of Christmases ago just like you described, all carbon fiber with no bolster. Ill try to find a picture of it and post it here for you.I think I like the bolsterd modle the best though.
