Custom Folders??????????

I am new to customs, I feel them calling.

I like the folders I have been seeing and am very interested in scale release and scale release Auto.

I have seen the Osborn site and from what I see that is probably where I will start, due to price and the favorable reviews here.

I have seen the work of Mike Allen. Who else is working with scale release in the more traditional handle materials.

I do not get to many knife shows so I need the input here.

Both Osborne and Allen (Whiskers) are great choices.
I do not own an Osborne but I have bought a Whiskers Allen lockback. He makes some of the sweetest folders around and he introduced me to the scale release auto. Maybe one of these days I will have saved enough money to get one of his scale release autos built to my specifications.

Gene Osborn and his CenterCross knives are great. My first scale release auto was his and I am quite satisfied.
I believe Shawn(?) Valloton has made some as well as some of the other makers but I have not personally handled any others'.
