This is the design fishiker submitted for the contest KYenglish held a while ago. It`s about 8 1/4" overall, with a 4" blade. Handle is buckeye burl.

I don't know what to say john, it's hard to believe you could turn such a simple black and white drawing into something like that. I'm very excited!

I like it because it's a simple, practical design. There just may be one of these in the June sale. ;)

nice looking knife ... I love the burl ... congrats! ... I hope my first attempt (idea) looks as nice ... I'm sure John will turn my crude idea into another beauty.

Nice design!

I think it looks like a streamlined Kephart - an Aerocraft or something along that line -

Great look with the interesting wood.

Great looking buckeye on that one!

Received it yesterday and all I can say so far is that the pics don't do it justice. The burl looks great, it feels "just right" when I hold it, and John did an awesome job on the sheath.

Awesome looking piece, aside feom the index finger groove, it looks like a zara spook, a lure used for large bass, pickerel, muskiesand other larger predatory fish.
