Isn't this kind of rare, as all of the ones I've seen have the black G-10 handles.

The newest SPECWAR Logo (with date) knives have the black scales. The older SPECWAR knives have the green micarta. This is the good stuff.

Just completed my Viper series or I would buy this in a heartbeat. Viper 1 is the best blade to handle ratio in all of Emersondom. For those of you who don't know the seller he is a Usual Suspect of total integrity who among other things designed and created our signature tee shirts. Someone is going to be very happy with this purchase.
