OK
I like the looks of this!
Looks really good for clearing simple brush which is what I would mostly encounter here in lower Michigan.
It looks like you can really do some damage with this as a defense tool.
Looks like if made right you could even use the back of the handle as a impact device (hammering things like stakes in the ground?)

I think it seems to be a better all around too then a machete for me and my area...

What do you guys think?

I am a smaller guy so would want a shorter one, who do you suggest I go to for something like this? This is meant to be a user not a display piece.

They are nice and it really makes the most sense BUT I have a serious
issue and that is that I am a custom blade and gun junkie!

Jyogi, you could bug out in style with a set of these? working on a few at the moment!

Those are nice, half way between a kuk' and a Smatchet. I like it. What is the steel?

Sar....
Expect an Email from me in the next few days...
Im looking around for some ideas of what I want
and go from there. One issue I have are the handles,
wood gets very slippery with sweat, water, mud and blood.
Im thinkin like a 9 in blade possibly? Im a smaller guy and
like something thats quick.

Hey sorry I am out of the shop and at another makers shop learning something new, so it will next week when I get around to having time to answer all my mail but I will get with you.

I have quite a few in the works, they are kinda labor intensive to build.

Thanks
Spencer
