Custom grips

How hard is it to put custom grips on a Delica or Endura? Does the blade have to be open or closed when taking the screws out? Any springs that will go flying?

Go directly to YouTube and watch a few videos on Endura/Delica disassembly/reassembly and you'll be good.
There are a couple of good ones.

The assembly portion starts at the 12:41 mark. The critical detail you want to pay close attention to is the lock bar going in last at the 21:33 mark...!

I don't consider myself to be very handy, but I was able to do this last night in about 30-minutes. It's the 1st time I ever had my Delica apart.

Wow, those scales are really cool!! Where'd you get em?

I love them too. They correct one of the two biggest issues I have with the stock Delica, which is the exposed back end of the blade corner. I hate that showing. Here's the before and after.

Great job Nascar!! Those are Allen Putman scales and I have a bunch!! Put them on PM2s, Manixes and a Military!!
The advice to check out the gods is the way to go!!
Here's the Manix with scales from the same dealer.....Allen is awesome to deal with also!!

Yes, these particular scales allow my Delica-4 to fill my hand more than stock and it feels more secure. I still won't carry it over my Rat-2, due to how wide the Delica-4 feels in my pocket, with either set of scales.
