This is carbon fiber with silver twill inlays. I need some honest opinions. I'm trying to figure out a nice shape for some inlays for griptilians. This looked good on paper, but I'm not sure I like it now. What do you guys think? Is this cool or should I try some different shapes?

The inlay definitely adds some flash to a solid colored scale, but what would be the $ increase, and is it worth the extra work on your end. I think it looks good and is not available from the other custom scale guys, its a winner!
Where can I go to see all your color and feature options and to order a set, I WANT A SET NOW!

I like that knife a lot. A lot.

The handle really does it in.

Are all grips by Doug Ritter and share that blade shape?

Nice work, but the design doesn't do anything for me. It's too busy looking. What about doing two small lines that run parallel from end to end ? They wouldn't have to be perfectly straight lines. They could have some variation.
You could also do the upper part and lower part of the scales in the silver color, and have the darker color in the center. I know how it looks in my mind, but I'm getting really tired, so a good way to describe the design isn't going to happen :D

That looks pretty damn cool! But can I see that on a 943 with toxic green inlays? :D

DOAT, your work is looking really, really great. The scales you have been making for the Grip are exceptional and the ones for the 943 look amazing. Keep up the great work.

I think it looks great. The pattern on the twill and carbon fiber complement nicely. I also don't think its too busy. I like a little "busy" once in a while because sooo many knives have plain handles. "Change it up a bit" I say. Benchmade is doing a good job by giving us multicolored G10 handles more and more, and I like it a lot. I really miss my 300-1 with blue/black g10. Need to replace it someday.

I think I'm with most of you. Im going to come up with something more subtle. This looked good on paper, but now in color it's too much. Might do something with more of a classic look.

Really great work, personally I think the two different materials complement each other well.... its very tough to come up with a pattern that everyone likes. Either way, I will be watching your sales thread to see what you come up with! A plain CF scale would work for me...
