I just received some really nice custom stippled grivory scales from Bsmith and id like to thank him and show them off a little. My photography skills arent the best but he did really good job with these. I already had 1 set of his stippled scales and once i used them and seen how perfect they were i needed another set done. This time he added my user name and Beckerhead number and i really like it. it makes any knife they go on unique and custom for me. These will be going on my BK9. I love the grivory shape but we all know they can be slippery and when your chopping and swinging a blade around the last thing you want is slippery handles. This solves the problem entirely. Bsmith is getting great at this and should start a "grivory alteration shop" !

Thanks again brother i do appreciate it!

Im not sure what he would charge, i know he said it takes about an hour per side so theres definetly some work involved in making them but i was lucky enough for him to gift me these. But send him an email, he is a cool cat im sure you could work out something very reasonable.

And ill tell you they make a big difference in the feel of the bk2 that i put the other set on. they give you a perfect grip and look great on the knife.

They look great on that 9 WW. I'm glad you like em bro. I own wood and micarta scales on some of my Beckers, and they do look amazing, but on my users I always run stippled grivory. It doesn't matter if their wet, oily, muddy, anything, they still have amazing grip.
Thanks for the praise guys, I truly appreciate it! Wear em out WW, they get better with use.

Thanks man they turned out great and i will wear them in good! the other set just got better and better the more they were used.

I love the stipple jobs on the grivory handled BK's. I stippled my BK10 and used quick tapping motions with my soldering iron so it was just really small/fine dots. I stippled my SOG Flash II with more aggressive dots and they hold dirt and grime a lot more. Great job though!

Blast from the past!!

I found they were perfect after I smoothed the ridges out with a little sanding by hand.

If you guys will mail me the scales ill do some up for ya. Its no charge or anything, just pay for shipping is all. I can do any type of "plastic" scale.

Very cool scales and good job on them bsmith. As a fellow stippler I can say that your offer to do them for free is more than generous. That takes a lot of time to do it right and make them nice. Awesome show of generosity.
