When Jackie married me I had already been making knives for several years. We've been married for 24 years now.

She says that we are talking the code when we talk about knives which she doesn't understand.

And she does get tired of talking about knives so I just call Larrin.

Man Devin - I gotta get one of your knives when I get other things paid off. What's the wait time usually? One of your Gyutos would make a great replacement for my wa Hattori!

Beautiful knife man, great work.

Thanks Mike

I'm running about 5 months out right now.

I love the Butch Nakiri BTW.

Thank you :D It is the current favorite! The Hattori keeps on taking a back seat to the Takeda and the nakiri now. Fresh Alaska baked salmon and potatoes au gratin all prepped with the nakiri. She even slice off the skin, not the best tool, but it sure worked well! Goes through onion and potato like magic!

er - should I pm or email you to start a conversation about a custom gyuto? :D

Devin, that's a top shelf stunner right there. If I know you that's not just a looker too. Very nice work!

Dave

Is it true that your getting a 50# little giant?

Hoss

Yes sir you heard correct! I've got a neighbor (whom I believe you know) who has an extra just sitting out front of his smithy. It was just too good a deal to pass up especially being only 8 min away from me. :D

I know I'm sort of putting the cart before the horse here but sometimes you have to make a move whether the timing is right or not. :)

Dave

I've bought equipment over the years that I couldn't use at the time but was a great deal.

I've never regreted it. The wife sometimes fusses though.

You will need a press also.
