Sometime during the past few months a maker posted images of a recently completed custom half congress. It was exquisite and I saved the image (or so I thought!). Can anyone direct me to the image of a knife fitting this description? Thank you!

Is this it?

This one was sold in the Makers section by Ken Erickson. I am assuming that since it has sold it is within the rules to link to it here:

That's a beautiful knife. I don't own a custom of any kind yet, but from what I've seen of Ken Erickson's congresses lately, one of his might be my first.

and... I've just realized that what I remembered as a half congress is a swell center pen! Doesn't diminish its beauty one bit.

The congress pattern traditionally has 4 blades on 2 backsprings, and a half-congress will have 2 blades on 1 backspring, and all half-congresses that I've come across have the sheepsfoot large blade and pen small blade. So this knife is definitely a half-congress. I'm guessing he calls it a "pen" because it's slightly shorter than the accepted standard congress length, with thinner ground blades and lighter pulls, like typical pen knives.

Damnit, I really want one of these. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

It's just two names for the same thing -- congress pen=half congress. The sheepsfoot main blade makes it so (along with the handle profile). And that's certainly a beauty.
