Man, do I like colors. Nice choice Mike!

He just said "blue G-10", so I wasn't sure what to expect.

I _love_ this color though. It looks much nicer in real life -- the picture does NOT do it justice.

I've forwarded the URL to this thread to him, so maybe he'll chime in.

Will and Darrel:

I guess you know it is a great knife when people are willing to pay more than the cost of the knife to put a fancy handle on it! :)

That looks great, Mike!

I might place a call to Montana Knife Handle supply for some G-10, epoxy, and pin stock myself. Putting the scales on would be easy. I don't know though, putting $20 of materials and a couple hours of work into a $20 knife? Can you make a silk purse out of 420HC? Well, it might be a fun experiment anyway.

Hi there. I am Taz. Mr Johnson is my dad :) Lol. I will be 21 soon, so I'm not a Mister yet :) Yes, I am the one who rehandled the knife. Blue G10 was the color. Some places sell a different type of G10, shading wise, so i wasn't sure of the color. Halpern sells a slightly different, maybe a finer grained G10, but I like this stuff cuz it is grippy, whereas the other G10 was smoother and slicker, even though both were at 320 grit if I remember correctly.

Base price is $25 with Return USPS Insured Priority shipping back to you. G10 in Blue, red or black, Micarta in black linen or red linen, and ivory paper micarta, all 1/8" thick. Mosaic pins are an extra $5 for 2 3/16" pins. I can leave a lanyard hole like in Michaels, or cover it up, your choice.

Woods are also available on special request, and the price depends on the wood.

These prices are for an Arclight, but I can also rehandle other knives, too, and the options are more varied, ie a hunting knife can have thicker scales, more variety in colors cuz thicker micarta can have mixed colors, etc.

BTTT, i posted late, so some might have missed it...
