Here is a custom handle I just finished, I don't like the orig rubber handles by CS so I made a slightly larger custom for this taking it to the next level.
This is a Cold Steel Master Hunter carbon V USA blade.
I used white walnut live edge wood and stained it black then sanded it to reveal the awesome grain.
I made an aluminum guard with a hammered finish on the blade side then blackened it and added a canvas spacer.
This has a brass tube that is flared and blackened. The pommel end is filled with epoxy and copper wire to fill the open tang end.
Everything is epoxied on as well to be permanent.
The sheath snaps were short but I was able to reuse the handle snap in place of the guard snap to get the proper length.
