Custom handles for a KA-BAR D2 Fin?

The handle material ( GFN-PA66 ) is pretty uncomfortable after a couple minutes of use, due to it's hard nature. To a point where my hand would hurt. But the D2 blade and everything else is perfect, so I was wondering if anyone out there made handles for the Fin.
