Custom handles retrofitted to production knives?

Does anyone out there do custom handles fitted to production knives?

My project: I have a Blackjack Model 1 that I've had for several years but never used. I like the blade design and overall "feel" of the knife, but I would prefer something other than the leather handle with spacers, etc. I would like to get someone who is familiar with doing it to retrofit a handle to my specifications onto the knife.

Does anyone know of someone who does this or MIGHT do it?

FYI "Taz" added some blue micarta scales to my 420HC Arclite a while back. Here's at least one thread where I mentioned it.

EDIT- Here's probably my first post about the Arclite.
