Custom Hell Razor...whatcha think?

Hey guys, what do you think of my customized razor? After using it for a while, I felt these changes would better suit my needs/uses. It doesn't hang up on the sides of my spec ops sheath now and I think it gets better point penetration. I liked the old design ( obviously... I bought it..:D ) but this iteration better strikes my fancy..so to speak.

So give me some opinions...but be gentle...I'm sensitive;) .

P.S. Don't worry about the heat treat, I am a hobby bladesmith and I made DAMN sure I didn't get the blade anywhere near hot.

Good job Foxmd! Looks great too.

However, I do like to use the finger placement swoops (I've got a mind block, there's a better word than that) on the spine of the HR. I actually find 'em pretty thoughtfully and ergonomically designed for my hand.
 
Oh, Dear Lord!! Not only do we have one Hog changin' different blades in SHSH's, but now we have another!!!! :eek:

Thanks for the feedback guys. I initially thought the swoopy things were a good idea, but I have small hands( and no the old saying does not hold true;) ) and after gripping it ( the hell razor:D ) in a lot of different positions and using it, it really didn't help my grip too much.

I kinda think it looks a corrugated SJ or an anorexic NO.

Me too!! :thumbup: When I first saw the HR on the site, I thought, "Man, that thing is bloody weird lookin'.." Now that I own one, I absolutely love EVERTHING about it. The swoops, the swedge, the skull crusher, even the corrugations. Now I want one in every single color.. :D

As far are your knife, I don't mind the alterations, but I think that the butt of your knife looks a lil unusual. If I was doing some moddin', I would probably have just lopped off the bump, kept the lanyard holes, and made the tail of this HOG a straight line instead.. ;)

I would have made it a pointy skull crusher. heheheheh:D

I like my hr the way it is.:D
