custom help on a 110

Dear Sir's thank you for your help regarding the titanium 110 or 560.I have also heard that i could get a BG-42 blade put on,but i live in the UK,could i still get this done,if so would someone please take the time to to tell me how it works and how much it is going to cost.I have also been told that the 560 could not have a leather sheath because the titanium reacts to the leather,is this also true.Thank you for your help BLINDREF

ask Joe House the moderator of this forum for the blade swap - he´ll be back after easter - for his email just click on the moderator field on top of this forum - he´s field testing Buck Knives right now

AFAIK the blade swap was/is 30/35 USD plus shipping - you´ll sent the knive to Buck and they´ll return it with the new blade - they´ll keep the old blade.

I think Titanium is not really sensitiv to reactions with Leather or such - so I´ll doubt there are any problems - it might be more a marketing decision to ship the 560 with the Nylon sheath as opposed to the leather sheath of the 110 - actually I think the traditional leather goes very well with the 110 and the Nylon does fit the 560 better but YMMV.
