just curious.. any owners of Rick's customs actually use them for EDC tasks? or more for keepsake, with them costing like 4-5 times of their production counterparts?
also, mainly what differs them from regular productions? besides the DLC coating, cool cool clips, different grind.. ? balde material is the same rite?
thanx all for the patience..![]()
In the final decision making process, I can't afford a knife I can't use.
What makes a custom different from a production....Rick builds them, gets very creative, they are one-of-a-kind, hands-on items with a huge amount of attention by Rick, himself.
Exactly my thoughts. If a knife never gets used, it gets sold. That is, unless the knife contains priceless sentimental value. In the final decision making process, I can't afford a knife I can't use.
The Hinderer crew builds both productions and customs, the build and attention to detail is the same regardless of which blade is inserted hence why either version is top notch. The only difference is that Rick custom grinds the blade.
