I was able to flip some knives and score this custom. And not only that. I just received a custom Commander which I was able to return because I can't keep both customs. That saved me the trouble of trying to sell it.
First off, the Horseman and Commander are my favorite customs from Emerson. I like the Horseman's size better for carry, but the Commander feels better in the hand. But this is the first time I held a custom Horseman. I've only handled the production version. At first, I was afraid that the Horseman would be too small, but I realized that if it is built like the Commander, the thickness will fill my hand well. Which it did. Very comfortable in the hand. Much more so than the production version.
Nice clean lines of this classic tactical folder.
THICK lock, with the lock-up just where I like it. Just kissing.
Just check out the grind lines. Aggressive swedge.
Perfect size for EDC.
Thanks for looking!
