Just a little show and tell and praise for a few good artists. The knife is a custom wharncliffe folder by Paul Tham (txwoodchip), ATS-34 blade, mammoth ivory scales, SS bolsters and back spacer, and titanium liners. Really nice file work on the back spacer and on the liner where you push to release the lock. Action is smooth and solid all the way out, lock-up is excellent. Just a really beautiful little folder. I didn't want it rattling around in my pocket, so I sent if off to Dave Abramson (lifter4him) for an in-pocket sheath. Dave's attention to detail is really phenomenal, he made a sheath that fits the knife perfectly. It's made so that it fits down in the front pocket and there's just enough knife available that I can reach in and pull it out easily. But Dave did such a nice job finishing the non-clip side that it works really well clipped onto my belt. I wouldn't clip it on the belt for anything that could get rough, but it's mostly a gent's rig anyway. I've thanked them both privately, but I wanted everyone to see what a great job these guys did. Sometimes in my day-to-day existence it's easy to forget that there are people out there that really care about and take pride in the work they do.
