The customer wanted a 3" dagger; this is what I came up with. What do you all think?

Steel is 440C, forged from round bar. Handle is ebony with red liners.

It's really a three finger knife, and with the pommel snuggled up in the palm, almost qualifies as a push dagger.

Thanks for looking,

Nice one, Philip. Been wondering if you were still forging. Haven't many of the recent knives you've posted been stock removal? The grinds on this blade look great as always. I am not a fan of Loveless bolts, however. Did you look like a chimney sweep after grinding the ebony?

That is one serious user Phillip! For me I would like the blade around 4 1/2" but I love the whole execution of simplicity and practicality....:)

That's different.
Nice execution in that the grinds, liners and tapered tang all look to be first rate.
Don't care for the Loveless bolts either.

COOL. To me it looks like a Boot knife that would be very handy for carry.

It looks really well made, and I like the ebony with red liner look very much. Those "Loveless" rivets could look much different with a bit of "scratchin" on them:D
