custom k-bar

Does anybody make a customized version of the k-bar like the Late Tom Hetmanski did? If so is there a web address or anything? Thanks

Tom Krein makes something along those lines:

First Picture. This is my first effort at a Combat knife. I am calling it the Krein Combat Knife. This is the 7" version. I also have a shorter version.....watch for pics next week!! In the past I have built large fighters, but nothing that I considered a combat knife. This changes all that! It is brute strong with 1/4" thick stock! It is made of D-2 at RC-58 with heat treat by Paul Bos! I designed this one to drop in all the after market K-bar sheaths and it is a perfect fit. This is the knife I would take if I was going to Iraq, Afghanistan, or some other combat zone.

I don't know of anybody, but you might want to ask over on the knifemaker forums. Somebody over there might know of someone making a knife similar to the KA-BAR, or be willing to make one himself.
