Custom Khukri from H.I.?

Email Yangdu with what you are looking to have made.

She'll tell you if it's doable and how much it will be.

Welcome Aboard cbinvb!

As Cpl Punishment said, email Yangdu directly.

Is there any particular Khuk of knife you have in mind so as to determine whether it is a variation of a regular offering or something totally new?

for those of you not around when western union actually used a mechanical teletype printer & human-delivered paper 'telegrams' (a primitive form of email), they charged by the word, and by the character. the shortest telegram in the English language was from the Irish writer Oscar Wilde. He was living in Paris and he cabled his publisher in Britain to see how his new book was doing. The message read:

“?”

The publisher cabled back:

“!”

we have thus just played that back in reverse. succinctness contest a tie.

(the MIB here enforce a min of 5 chars, spaces do not count, so please igore the leading & trailing periods (aka 'full stops'))

yes, my initial 'exclamation' was an affirmation of your 'succinct' comment, praising it by emulation and hyperbole. your response was of course superb and very erudite in continuing the trend. sadly 1 is lowest character count.

unless you count that in regards to a certain old man who liked sleeping with children who died recently, i have been told not to speak ill of the dead, so this below is my response to his passing:

I thought about leaving out the ! as it cluttered the brevity of my reply but I realised ! is a greater sign of my approval than a . (full stop) to denote the end of my reply.

I too found out about the 1 character count ...some forums
have an upper limit on smilies too (10 here) ! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I thoroughly enjoyed (and actually understood) the above exchange- especially when I read this:

I always have a small, mental celebration whenever I encounter the word "erudite" in daily parlance. To me, it is simply a fun word. :) Years ago, my sister gave me a button, upon which was a design by Sandra Boynton. Above a cartoon image of a turkey wearing a mortarboard was the deliciously ironic message, "I am eruditer than you." :D

OK, time to un-hijack the thread. :o;):p
