Custom knife build

Hi all - I am considering commissioning someone for a complete custom build.

I have makers that I really like - Koenig, HMC Sharkvinco etc.

But I’d really like to build a custom full size goblin with thumbs studs -

Any thoughts on high quality makers that would be interested?
 
In my dreams I could commission Les George to build me the ultimate Sicario folder and a Sicario fixed blade set. Don't have the cheese or the juice for that though. lol

Omg - that would be sick - don’t see those floating around much

Does he do commissioned builds?

Books were closed last I checked. I've seen pictures of one that made me weak in the knees though. norcalAF norcalAF lol

I do have a few custom fixes in the works from some amazing makers that I'm schoolgirl giddy about though.. :)

What's a Goblin knife, a quick search didn't help me much
 
I think you'd have to go through Koenig if you want a slightly modified version of one of his designs, right? I don't think anyone would take the project on knowing that it's Koenig's intellectual property.

Now you could take design aspects of other knives you like, a little bit here, a little bit there, and make your own design. In fact, if you're going to be spending the money on a commissioned full custom built-to-spec knife, you might as well make it your own creation. It's probably going to be quite spendy. I don't really know who to recommend though, as I've never been in the market for a built to spec custom folder of my own design.

Yeah - I sent them a note, based on other exchanges with Koenig, doesn’t sound like they are doing customs. Too much demand for the product as it is……

Love to work with someone on a design and build. Need to stop chasing drops to fund it!!

The guys in Michigan will add a set of Ti studs to anything for $50.
