This was a project for a very good friend of mine Paul, and his buddy. (they were birthday gifts) Both are big hunters and travel all over chasing game. He requested a sole authorship forged blade that he could use. So myself Paul and knifemaker Dave Lisch worked on this over the course of several months. Much thought went into the blade design as we perfected a big game, deep belly, ultra sharp hunter.

This knife will see big five blood. (and a big brown bear, moose, elk, sheep, and deer)

The blade is W2 differential h.t. with a "smoky ghost" hamon line.
select grade A mammoth ivory scales bronze pins and guard.

You no doubt hit a home run with that present.

As for the knives, good looking very well designed and extremely functional hunting knives.
Really like the spine dip for the resting of the thumb.
 
Dang, why don't people ever buy me gifts like that! A terrific pair that will no doubt be both treasured and enjoyed. Graet stuff.
