Custom knife factory.

The custom knife factory has some awesome blades at really good prices. Whenever I see something like that I get a little nervous because those prices have to come from somewhere. If you have one of their knives how is the fit and finish? Customer service? Quality control? Warranty?
 
The low prices come from the fact that many of the parts are CNC'd in China and they're assembled in Russia. They're quite upfront about it. I've only heard good things about their fit and finish, but I haven't followed them too closely. Haven't heard anything about their warranty/CS. I would expect that warranty work will be problematic on account of their Russian assembly. It'd probably involve having to mail it internationally both ways which would be slow, expensive, and possibly have issues getting through customs.
 
The fact that custom knives don't come from a factory, is enough for me to take a pass on them.
 
I didn't know about the china thing. I guess it makes sense now. Really nice designs though
