Custom Knife Info.

I am trying to find out about a knife that I recently acquired. It is stamped Smitty Knifeworks,Darby Montana. I found it on this forum when I did a search.ATS34 blade, box elder burl scales,etc.I'm just trying to find out any information I can like when it was made,etc.

I can't get a pic to load on here.If you Google Smitty Knifeworks and look on images,my knife will come up.It's the blond burl handled knife.Thanks for any info.

I found it. Neat looking knife. I wish I could tell you more. I found a post on bladeforums where that knife was for sale in 2013.

I lived just north of Darby for about 8 years. I only moved to Michigan a few years ago. While in Montana, I attended the MKA show in Missoula every year. Smitty Knifeworks is not a maker or company that I was familiar with, and I knew just about all the local makers.

I'd guess that the knife is either prior to about 2006 or 2013 or later. But I don't know that for a fact. Can you get a sense of if it's an older knife or pretty new?

Not really sure about the age.Its a great edc knife.I've never seen any other knives by that maker.Hey,thanks for checking it out.(coreygraham696@gmail.com)
