Now that's the very first time I have ever seen ANY discount for factory Customs..That will save me a lot if improbably Buck suddenly offers a drop point for the 112..
 
yes, CKS15 email says...

haven't tried but often these codes won't work under your bcci account even though there is no bcci discount. but.....they changed the website so maybe that's changed too?

I finally pulled the trigger on a 110 that I have wanted for a long time. I got crazy and added a matching 119 as well!

Got the email, bought another 112, this time with S30V and walnut scales with no rivets. Free shipping over $99 too.

Hard to believe that my custom order came in already!

I'm super disappointed in the 110...and actually stoked about the 119 (that was an afterthought)!

Why are you disappointed by the 110?

No photos at the moment.

The finger grooves are not like my over the counter finger groove 110. The positioning is off and it feels like they took a little too much meat off of them compared to a stock version. Lining the stock and custom up together there is a difference. Not significant, but I visually noticed it when I unpacked it and instantly felt it when in hand. The bottom bolster was ground/buffed at a slight angle too.

I think I might. I’m not sure if they do returns/refunds on customs anymore?

I had an issue with a custom 110 about 8 years ago. Joe Houser was very helpful and did offer to send a return label and refund. I think I ended up selling it at a loss?

I have been very reluctant to order a custom ever since but finally broke down. I should have known better

It's unfortunate when that happens. They make so many really good knives and then . . . disappointment.
