I just wanted to let fellow knife nuts in the Colorado area that we have a pretty decent knife show at the Denver Holiday Inn the weekend of August 15. There are a lot of custom makers from the area and differant knife making demonstations.
I been going to them for the past 10 years. Aways fun. I know its not as big or popular as some of the other shows, but its local and I dont have to fly anywhere.
So, anybody in the area interested e mail me and I can send you a copy of my flyer.
Good luck
Jack

Tried to send you email but it was rejected. I would like to have a flier about this show. Please email me one if you can.

How about you just post the info, Jack? Times, notable knifemakers who will be in attendance, cost, etc. I assume it's the Holiday Inn at I-70 and Tower Rd. (?)

I dont know who the knife makers will be. I am not associated with the PKA I just go to the show every year.
They got one guy who puts on seminars on how to forge and grind a blade. He has a lot of good tips, it helped me.

I've gone for the past three years and will be there this year. You'll find some rather nice knives, folders and fixed blades alike! Even better, you'll find some rather nice makers that are always enjoyable to visit with.

So, who went? How was it?

I ended up schlepping around the flea market ALL DAY with my son. Fun, tho. Picked up a FRN Spyderco Cricket for $3.

there are bth folders and fix blades some knife kits and someitmes a couple of used knife dealers too.. Also lots of instruction on knife making last year I bought a knife kit I made a 4 inch ats 34 bone handle fix blade Use it all the time in the kitchen. It is a little heavy bone handle and all feels good in your hand though.
I know I am going again
