Custom Knife under $500?

Since I am one of the lucky people able to work from home, I'd like to support a knifemaker by purchasing a custom knife. Since I teach, it has to be a folder for me to carry it, it has to be fairly inexpensive, and it has to be pretty small (3.5" or less in blade length) so as not to intimidate. Recommendations?

Check out the makers' sale section. There will be lots of options that fit your requirements, especially of the gentleman folder type.

Check out Charlie Bell Oklahoma. He's been putting out some very nice folders in that range.
