I was a fixed drop blade knife with no identifying marks on the tan or any where else. How do I find out who made it?
 
Could you post a picture of the knife? Might get some better help
 
If the scales are removable, like with threaded fasteners, there may be something identifiable under them. If not you might be out of luck.
