Custom knife...?

I'm new... just wondering about this knife I have. It's a hunting knife with a 6&1/2" blade and is about 12&1/4" oal; weight is 12oz. I think it's a brass guard and the one thing that definitely stands out is the scroll work and the initials AS stamped on the blade.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate whatever feedback there is.

May not be who you're looking for but the only knifemaker I can think of with the initials A S is Ariel Salaverria from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here's a link to his site.
