Hi Les,
Would this book be a good read for makers as well? Especially us new to the business?

Thanks
Eric

Thanks, Les. I've been mumbling to myself about heading in that direction recently, and could sure use some sage advice. When I began haunting the forums in early February, I was a "CRKT Collector" sort of. Now, I'm a full-fledged Spydie knutt and own a Sebenza. This place does stuff to you. Well, that and reading Ed Fowler's book.

LES,

Does this mean we CANT call you anymore and ask the same questions?

You used to offer your insight and advise for FREE that's one of the MANY things that set you apart from other dealers, most dealers just wanted to make a buck, whereas you wanted an informed, educated, repeat customer\collector.

I would say that what ever the price is on your book it's probity worth twice that, not even considering the knowledge and piece of mind it will give the consumer.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the nice words. I think more dealers and makers are now educating the buyers.

Also forums like this are an imense help to custom knife buyers.

I am now hearing on a regular basis how custom knife buyers are much more educated and are asking some very good questions.

While I appreciate your kind words, the book is $10 to you, like it is to everyone else.

I will say, to those who read it, it will save you at least that much on your next custom knife purchase.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Yup pretty much. Might be more appropriate to discuss the outline here rather than make a post to sell it. I was hoping there might be a little more info posted at some point.

Over to Custom knives for sale makers.

It really is not that hard folks.
