Custom Knives made South of the border?

I am just going to throw this out there, does anyone know of any good makers south of the border, mainly mexico, but other Latin makers too. I know there is a maker hereon the forums from Argentina, I was wondering if someone found a good maker or even a good source of quality knives. I like the gaucho knives, punals (?), and early Spanish knives. Just a thought when I was reading in the cutlery magazine I get about makers in the Phillippines, Malaysia, the tribal makers. So I am interested in the Latin Blades.
