I was looking on the Benchmade website and saw about customizing a knife. They only offer a couple knives, which was okay with me because one of them is the Barrage, and I love my 583 barrage. I knew it would be expensive, (retail and then some) but I thought it would be awesome to have every detail of the knife the way I want it, down to the blade steel. Unfortunately though, the program to customize is a nightmare. I wanted to have letters on the blade, but I was not able to move or size anything. I called benchmade about this, saying I used 3 devices and I still couldnt do it, and the lady told me it really only works on google chrome. Did any of you guys ever try it?

I just tried it in IE and just one of the blade graphics I tried would not display.
But I didn't try to move or resize anything, so it may not mean much.
I was hoping to be able select M390 steel and full G10 or G10/aluminum scales like some of their limited-production Barrages have had - but no dice.

It seems like it would be simple to offer black or silver aluminum bolsters, and different colored G10 scales like they've made in the past.
Those green and black G10 handled shot show special 586s were beautiful...
