Raul Mammadov was born in Baku (Azerbaijan) but has been living in the city of Essentuki (Russia) for more than 30 years. He began making knives in 1986, but does not consider himself a professional. Making knives is a hobby for Raoul. Some of his knives and the design of his leather scabbard show Caucasian motifs.
