Custom knives?

Quick question, I think I read a while ago that the Busse shop makes custom knives, is this true? The reason I ask is because I am planning on buying a bare-blade Fallkniven F-1 and I would like it "Bussified" you know black krinkle coat and textured micarta scales. So if I do remember correctly any info or links would be appreciated.

Yes they take orders for custom knives, but I'm not sure if they customize a other brand knife. Hopefully someone can jump in here who knows more about this.
 
I don't know why Jerry and crew would take another maker's knife and mod/customize it:confused: . Just doesn't seem likely to me, but I don't know for sure.
 
You're going to end up spending about what you would for a standard-issue Busse, and waiting longer. That is, assuming the shop will even take the order. Why not just buy the real thing?

I love the design of the F1. :)
 
Yes the F1 is very nice, but a Busse will last a million years longer ;)


Give the shop a call, but I don't think that doing that for other knives would be their thing.. but I can't answer for them hehe
 
I think you'd be hard pressed to find many companies like Busse (or makers for that matter) to take on a project like that. Hope you're handy with that stuff, you'll probably have have to do it your self.

Just get a BAT :D. You won't regret it!
