I have a small metal lathe (Taig Micro Lathe II) and make parts for model cars, air guns, and the occasional strange parts for my friends. I decided to make my own lanyard beads from 300 series stainless steel for my new knife (BK14).

The bead and the ends are turned from 3/8" and 1/4" across the flats hexagon bar, the grooves are .015" wide.
A close up...

Some other beads turned from 3/8" hex and 3/8" round bar...

I'm a hobbyist, I don't make things for money!
