Hey guys,
just finished up a sheath in black for the Trailmaster

- Made from 7-8oz Wickett & Craig leather with 2-3oz leather lining
- Fully lined interior
- Removable dangler loop - Lined as well
- Removable lined retention strap
- Military grade, US made black hardware
- Copper rivets at high stress points
- 5/16" Fire steel with bungee retention cord
- 100% natural Beeswax/oil finish
- No rivets or belt loop stitching on inside of sheath
- Integral leg tie-down

Well, I am the lucky Trailmaster owner that Mark made that sheath for. Let me just tell you, that it is a heavy duty, functional work of art, that in my opinion is way underpriced for the craftsmanship that went into it. When I first contacted Mark to ask if he could make it for my Trailmaster, he said "Sure can" and he even ordered a Trailmaster to make the sheath for so I didn't have to send mine, which was very cool. Now he's the proud owner of an O1 steel Trailmaster and I bet he's gonna LOVE it when he puts it to work.

The sheath fits my knife like a glove, it's heavy duty but surprisingly light, I don't know how he did it but it sits lightly on the belt and dangles perfectly. The knife came with a Secure ex sheath but I hate kydex/plastic sheaths as they scratch the heck out of the blades no matter how often or we'll you clean them. I know that user knives get scratched and dinged but in my eyes, that should occur during the USE of the blade not by the storage. Just my thinking.

In any event, if you need a solid, functional piece of protective leather for your Trailmaster or any blade, give Mark a shout, you WON'T regret it for a second. His next commission from me is for a Chris Reeve Project II and I can't wait.

Very nice looking sheath! There is just something about beautiful leather with a Trail Master that I will always love. :thumbup:
 
Man put me down for one, A black one. I have one in the works myself but mine will be brown for my custom handle :D.
What's better than a trailmaster by your side? Another on the other side :D everyone needs a friend...!!!
