Custom Leather Sheathes

Can you guys suggest people/companies that make custom leather sheathes (no frills needed) for under fifty bucks (preferably less). I've heard of Kenny Rowe, and have checked out some of his work. I'm just looking for alternatives.

It was my exceedingly good fortune to be introduced to Mr. Sandy Morrissey recently by Jerry Hossom. His work is incredible, his customer service is even better, and his prices are extremely reasonable. I can almost guarantee your satisfaction. He also happens to be a moderator over at the Sheathmakers forum on KFC, and I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

Got to agree with Bill. Jerry introduced me to Sandy a couple of months ago. Trust me if you think the pictures of the knives and sheaths on Jerry's site look good seeing the work is 10 times better than the pics.

In addition to Kenny Rowe, our own Gary Graley makes some fantastic sheaths also.
I am pretty sure he makes sheaths for folders mostly and the one he made for me and others that I know of are also top shelf.

Robert Schrap also does some great work that you might want to look into.

I am sure there are others these are just the ones I know about.

E-mail me. I make leather sheathes for just about anything. The last one I did was a shoulder holster type concealment rig for two throwers. The knife sheath could also be changed out to put a pistol in its place. If anybody wants a handmade DURABLE sheath for whatever it is you got, drop me a line.

Hello All-
Just got some information that concerned me a little- seems that due to the BSE or "Mad Cow" scare in Europe, leather prices are going through the roof. Any chance of getting a price "locked in" before current supplies run down?

For fixed bladed knife sheaths. I offer custom fitted, and hand sewn sheaths built from tough Water Buffalo hides. For Standard styles I charge $10.00 per blade inch. Your choice of right or left handed, and pouch or keeper-strap styles.

Hey, Bill and Gus! maks me feel pretty darn good being mentioned in the same breath with sheath makers such as Kenny Rowe,Gary Graley, Bob
Schrap and Chris Kravitt. I have met all but Gary personally and I intend to do that as soon as possible. The company you have placed me with are all splendid gentlemen and craftsmen of the highest order. It is my fervent hope that I can visit with all of them at the Blade show and also with you Bill and Gus!
