Custom Leather Sheaths/Holster

I'm a new owner of an Umnumzaan and am looking for a more secure way of carrying. The pocket clip is how I carry most of my knives, but the craftsmanship of a CRK screams to be holstered.

I've seen the standard sheath/holster that CRK offers, but I've also seen a dozen or so pictures of various types of holsters/sheaths with penlight/multitool combos. I would much rather pay a little more and get something that suit my needs.

Think someone could point me in the direction of a quality leather worker and what price I'd be expecting to pay?

Thanks for all your help

Contact Gfeller, the sheathmaker for CRK..I believe they have done stuff like this before.
There is also the fine craftsman in the forum that do this kind of thing as well in the Knifemakers market. May reach out to them.

I don't know for sure if Gary W. Graley makes a slip for the Umnumzaan but he makes nice slips/sheaths for folders ... but he may just do slipjoints I'm not sure ... you could PM and ask.

but he does nice work.

+1 Gfeller. They make great stuff and are open to doing customizations.

Haven't made a sheath for any of the CRK knives lately, and wicekleather looks pretty nice and he might even have that style of knife in his collection.

You can email me at if you are interested, but I would need to borrow the folder for the fitup if I were to make one for you.

and thanks JJ_Colt45 JJ_Colt45 for the reference.

here's a recent sheath for a Lionsteel Bolus folder, my vertical sheaths are a wrap around type to help keep things trim as possible.

and a horizontal carry of a Sebenza, this requires the clip to be removed, but most that want to use a sheath really like the feel of the knife less the clip, just feels more comfortable.
