Hey guys

have a few scratches on my cqc6 and it would benefit from a sharpening

it is a user knife, and ive used it on quite a few runs as an EMT and just general outdoor stuff

threaded bolster, specwar logoed

was curious if anyone knows the turnaround time on these, and what they do for you when you send it in?

do they remove all scratches on the blade and whatnot for you?

they can make it look LNIB if thats what ya want, and ya are willing to pay for it, i dont think it costs very much, i have been gonna send in my custom '13 and get the bolsters BB'd and the lock adjusted but it still locks up fine and if ya caryy the thing the bolsters will get scuffed up quickly anyway, once i get my '13 looking LNIB i will probably not carry it anymore, for a while anyway, carry my '12 instead, but for now i enjoy carrying it and as long as it locks up ok i will probably hold off.

i dont think he charges much to BB the bolsters, polish out the blade, sharpen, adjust the lock/etc, i dont think it all would be over $50 or so, with shipping, times can vary but lately i have heard 4-6 weeks or so, sometimes faster, it just depends on what he's doing, how many shows he's going too/etc, i sent my '6 into him 4-5 yrs ago to adjust the lock and i had it back in a week, thats probably the exception vs thr rule though lol, i would say 4-6 weeks is fairly std.
