does anyone make red and black Micarta for the full size Becker’s. Asking for “a friend”
 
Dogwood Dan does red/white Firefly. Note quite what you're looking for, but pretty cool.
 
TKC make some of the best scales.Bought a set of Black G-10 w/red liners.

It greatly improve the handle comfort/ergonomics for me.A lot better that the Becker Micarta and I love my BK9 a lot more now.YMMV

Interesting.... Is there a geometry difference, or only texture?
I oil up my micarta Becker scales, and really like them, That way..... I think they feel "Richer" in the texture.
hard to describe, but almost like good wood.

I only have one G10 scales on a knife, and it's my EDC benchmade/HK folder.... to me, Those scales feel kind plasticy?

In a week or so, I have another "nicer" knife coming/shipping.. It too has G10 scales, so I'm kinda worried. :/
 
It's a slimmer contoured handle profile and their shallow anso like vertical scale texturing that make them stand out for me.Then again I don't have the largest or smallest of hands.Again YMMV

Being in the medium hand category, I agree with this. I also got a set of g10 scales from tkc yesterday for a project I’m going to be working on soon.
 
They definitely make a difference with sweaty hands. Very easily to put on. I don’t have anything in Micarta to compare with but I would say this is a great improvement over the stock scales. My only negative is that I wish the red was a little more pronounced. It comes out more in the picture than in real life.
 
Holding my knife I mentioned I was getting earlier...
It has G10 scales.... My second knife with G10.

My first is a Benchmade/Hk folder... I "should" post pics of it in my daily folder post here, but I've kinda been away unfortunately... Kinda busy, lately.... anyhow... I like That knife a bit, but the G10 feels kinda thin, maybe cheap?

This new knife is much better!
Thick and robust feeling, the handle is really good. Smooth where it should be, grippy also where it needs.
It's discontinued, and I bought it here, my First knife here... (Thank You Bladeforums)
Basically.... I'm happy with G10...let's see how it compares to "micarta"
