If you have Facebook or if your friend does check LMF Knives out Joe might have what you need.does anyone make red and black Micarta for the full size Becker’s. Asking for “a friend”
TKC make some of the best scales.Bought a set of Black G-10 w/red liners.
It greatly improve the handle comfort/ergonomics for me.A lot better that the Becker Micarta and I love my BK9 a lot more now.YMMV
Interesting.... Is there a geometry difference, or only texture?
I oil up my micarta Becker scales, and really like them, That way..... I think they feel "Richer" in the texture.
hard to describe, but almost like good wood.
I only have one G10 scales on a knife, and it's my EDC benchmade/HK folder.... to me, Those scales feel kind plasticy?
In a week or so, I have another "nicer" knife coming/shipping.. It too has G10 scales, so I'm kinda worried. :/
Being in the medium hand category, I agree with this. I also got a set of g10 scales from tkc yesterday for a project I’m going to be working on soon. It's a slimmer contoured handle profile and their shallow anso like vertical scale texturing that make them stand out for me.Then again I don't have the largest or smallest of hands.Again YMMV
