Hey everyone. As many of you know I carry the BM975SBT religiously. I would like to get the following modifications done:

Colored and Polished Thumb Disk, Stop Pin, thick skeletonized pocket clip & Spacer. New assembly screws with slightly larger round head screws. Finally a good leather lanyard, god knows I can't get it right

An suggestions on someone ? I was thinking of asking Allen Elishewitz to do the work, but though I would ask here first. Thanks

All the knives in the world go round and round, round and round, round and round...DAMN, one of them took my wallet !!! :)

I don't know anyone to recommend, but I have one more modification to recommend. You can even do this yourself. Take some sandpaper and round the edges of the G-10 like Spyderco does on the Wenger. I do this on nearly all of my G-10 knives and most of my Micarta knives as well. Increases the comfort immensly, and doesn't take too much. I can try to email pictures if you want to see what I'm talking about. I can also tell you the grits and what have you as to how I do it.

This is strange.I was just getting ready to E-mail Jake Evans to see what he could do to my 975.I hate the plastic spacer and was thinking about Ti or stainless pin spacers to open up the back.Filework on the liners too.He might be the guy to handle your problem.

the larger screws seems like a good idea.I'll ask about that too.

I'd also check with Frank Recupero.

I don't have his URL off hand, but go to the links section, under makers, and see "Awakenings in Cutlery". Frank does incredible work and is very accomodating considering his busy schedule.

BTW, it would be nice to have Allen do the work, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that he would consider it.
